Founded in 1919, the Players Guild of Leonia is a nonprofit, resident acting company at the Civil War Drill Hall Theater (circa 1859). We are New Jersey’s oldest continuing community theater group, and we are just five minutes from the George Washington Bridge and a short bus ride from Manhattan.
Our historic Civil War Drill Hall Theater is located at 130 Grand Avenue in Leonia, surrounded by the towns of Englewood, Fort Lee, Palisades Park and Teaneck, New Jersey. Do you love theater? Come join us! We always welcome new members to help with costumes, props, publicity, set construction, set painting, tickets, and scrap booking, as well as performing onstage.
Come to our monthly meetings and workshop productions, usually held on the third Thursday (see calendar).
Players Guild of Leonia will be presenting –
“Something opens our wings, an evening of dance, song and poetry dedicated to birds.”
